The above link is to an article that appeared today in the Houston Chronicle about the man who was my high school basketball coach. I have had occasional contact with him in the 20 some odd years since I graduated, so I knew a little bit about his experience in Israel as a basketball coach. However, it was pretty neat to see his picture in the paper today, and it prompted the follow verse, which can be sung to the tune of Silent Night:
SILENT NIGHT, PICK AND ROLL RIGHT
Silent Night, holy night
Three point shot, pick and roll right
Soldiers, rifles, tanks at courtside
Slaughtered sheep and a victory ride
Sleep in heavenly peace, sleep in heavenly peace
