May His Kingdom

May His Kingdom is my song for June. Some of the ideas for it came from a book called STEALING JESUS, which looks at some of the ways the fundamentalist movement in the USA has effected the following of Jesus in the country. The point that stuck out to me is that often there is so much focus on being correct theologically that showing compassion for people goes out the window.


MAY HIS KINGDOM

May His kingdom come to your life today
May His will be real through you

May His love be seen in your neighborhood
As you do the things you do

May His steps be led by the Master's words
May His love show you the way
May His hands be yours as you reach to serve
Those you meet upon this day.
